Hey can you help me and post Hawaiian melody Ukulele songs for beginners? Thanks ! ;)

For books...in my limited experience the mel bay fingerstyle for ukulele book has some nice island arrangements. Otherwise go scope out doctoruke.com for songs with chord sheets.

He Mele Aloha is great if you know how the song goes. YouTube is your friend for finding out how the song goes.
The book is designed to be a reference while playing Hawaiian music together. It is a wonderful resource, but yes you need to learn the melody from another source.

Here's a listing of videos associated with the songs in He Mele Aloha ... http://www.taropatch.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9603
Since the listing was posted in 2011, some of the links may not be valid. I believe there was an updated listing in one of the FB groups. Please take note that the key in the video may not necessarily be the one used in the book. As mentioned above, a wonderful resource but it is a reference when playing Hawaiian music.

Couple other sources of Hawaiian music (chords/Lyrics ... tabs are few and far between and not often posted)

Hello! To avoid posting a new thread , i'll ask my question here!

I'm looking for traditional hawaiian music . I often look at demo videos of ukulele on theukulelesite.com and i'd like to learn song like they are playing . I know they are pros but I can't find the term or the name to make a search of these types of songs

Thank you

Most of those guys are noodling. I am sure that Corey and the others also play their own songs or variations of the same song on the sound samples.

I am learning finger-style method plus learning traditional Hawaiian songs using Pekelo. I like the book because they teach you a basic picking version of a song then you are taught some new thing and that adds to the song you were learning earlier.
To give you an example, there are 3 versions of the song Te Tama, each progressively harder with more notes and different techniques.
By the end of it you have learned to play finger-style and several traditional songs along the way. I don't have Book 2 in front of me but it works on the same principle but more advanced.

Good luck in your quest,

Edit: I just found this on ebay, looks good:
