i just recently lost my sadle after i took the strings out. i was wondering if someone would sell one to me or what ever i just miss playing my ukulele

You're in San Jose? You might want to take a run to 'Ukulele Source at 599 5th St. Smiley might have one or could give you contact info for someone who does.

'Ukulele saddles are not something that are found in abundance, so if Smiley can't help you will probably want to call up some manufacturers and see if they can ship you one.

I'd be very surprised if you can't find plenty of uke saddles on ebay. I just bought half a dozen from there, and I'm in the UK where ukuleles are still not that common yet.

^^ I bought a bridge from someone in the UK.

Stewmac and Hana Lima both sell saddles.

Blank guitar saddles can be shaped and sanded to whatever shape your uke had, having lost the previous one is a bummer though. When i got my MI-SI pickup installed i had to have a new saddle installed and being that i had it done at a guitar shop they just used a blank guitar saddle and i was rockin and rollin in no time.
