musikmesse 2009 video reports

mike, are you going to sell those risa sticks?

May for the u-bass, eh?

And that lacewood uke - looks deeper than a standard uke. is that true? Sort of a 'dreadnought' style perhaps?

PS. Liked that Risa acoustic shaped like an amoeba... have to look for sound clips.

I want to hear the U-bass. My lovely wife is even intrigued. That will be one I'll want to know more about when the time comes. (rubs his hands and thinks of the TCUO)

I'm also thinking those slotted head acacia tenors are going to be big sellers.

Those Risa shelves were very oddly mesmerizing.

You can find them in Rigk's shop at http://www.ukulele.de in concert sized ukuleles. There is a sound sample and specification of this instrument.I also like this one and plan to buy it in future.

Great video reports. It looks as if you managed without the ice after all!

I hope some of the budget ukulele madness will flood over into the Japanese market as well, shipping those things from the US is a bit expensive at the moment. For some reason many tend to go for expensive models right away, but there is so much fun to be had in the "middle range" brands as well...
