The old rule your grandfather told you still applies, "Half of life is just showing up." That little gem of wisdom applies here on UU as well. It looks like the only UU'er whoever went to camp is "goinwitdaflow." And he is the grand prize winner of the three T-Shirts! Congratulations and thanks for showing up for class! PM me and I'll send your shirts out as soon as possible.

Since several contests have ended or will end soon, it's my turn to step up and host a contest.

The rules are simple:

1. Cover or write a new song that you would sing at camp. Something you'd sing around a campfire or at a sing-a-long. The only catch is that you need to include the words "Don't Mess with Texas" somewhere in the song.

2. At the beginning of the song, just say something like, "This is for David's Camp Contest" or something close.

3. There is only one prize which is three T-shirts that I display in the contest video.

4. Since this is a camp related theme, bonus points are given for camp props locations etc. And as always, there are kids watching so keep it family friendly.

Contest ends June 1st. Have fun! It would be helpful if you linked your video to the contest rules video, it is just easier to keep track of that way.
