Has anyone ever???

I saw something on indestructibles.com about how you take a toy guitar (First Act) and turn it into a baritone Ukulele. Has anyone tried this? I found an absolutely adorable First Act guitar at Goodwill for 4.99 so I figure that I am not out much if it doesn't work. Hubby is going to give it a go once his tendon repair heals and he has 2 hands again, Just wondering if anyone tried it....

I have one awaiting????? Was going to do a bass? Tenor guitar? . Fretboard is a little wide for either (1 5/8", no end block inside the body. Still, with Chinese parts so cheap, may have a go at something anyway.
