Moving this to Uke Talk from Reviews since it's more of a comparison ...

Very interesting. That Fairchild almost goes against the laws of physics, looks small in size but man it has a big sound. Very clear and bright and loud. It is all very personal but I like the Fairchild. Thank you for doing that because I have never heard of them before.

Nice pickin and strummin!
I've never heard of Fairchild, but it's loud!
You have two unusual ukes, isn't it nice to play something uncommon?

Both ukuleles have a great tone. The Fairchild is a unique design and it's over 20 years old. I have looked to see if there are other similar ukuleles, but have not found any. It is fun playing uncommon instruments. :-)

Both nice, but I think the Pinol has a much "richer" sound.

Yes, the Pinol does have a very rich sound. I'm excited to play it more to see how it opens up.
