Helllo ! I'm jon . I have never made my own topic in here so this would be my first one =)

Im almost turning 18 in a couple weeks and i told my dad to buy a new ukulele for me as a present for my 18th birthday. I wanted to ask him to buy me one that cost around $300 . He said that it was too much =/ . So he devided the price in half. he could only give me a $150 dollar ukulele or less .

So i just want some suggestions from you ukulele players .

These might help you =)

I want a ukulele with an "okay" brand .
The ones that you can play on amps .
Black/tan/brown .
length dont matter as long as its more than 21 inches.

Thank you . much appreciate

I wont lie. it will be kinda hard to find a uke with a pickup system for only 150 bones.

there is a black kala here that has cosmetic flaws but is still a deal!!!

the best bang for your buck would probubly be this one:

^ it has the electric and also a mahogany body, which is my top choice for wood to use besides koa of course. its around 160$ which is not a bad price at all and the seller, musicguymic, is my favorite dealer to work with. it comes with a free case and is setup by mgm himself. You wont be dissapointed with this one, trust me.

I believe you'd be better off with one of the Kalas, also check out Mainlands, they are solid wood ukes at great prices, they sell them here in the store as well.
