Hi all. Had a quick question. I started binding a zircote fretboard with some curly koa binding. I used titebond glue for the adhesive. The booboo was that the binding slipped a bit and is not flush with the fretboard. I would like to try and remove the binding and reset a new piece. What is the best way to remove the Koa binding? Can I heat it up with my heat blanket and use a knife to seperate the pieces? Should I add a bit of moisture while heating? Not sure on this. That's for looking.

I used the iron on high like Chuck recommended. I used a bit O steam too. Worked like a charm. Thanks Chuck. Also left the iron in perfect condition..;)

Thanks Chuck. I did not think of using the iron. perfect idea. I just wont tell the wife. Hahaha.

I eventually bought my wife a new iron after taking hers to the shop. Very handy tool.
