Wow, a real stunner. Not ideal condition, but easily refurbed. So unique, those inlays. Gibby Style 3, early.

Okay, who snagged it? Lol. Congrats! :D

It was on eBay. I tried to upload a photo but it's not working from my iPad.

what was the winning bid

Hi, Stan. 1526 dollars US. A smidgeon rich, I thought, so I didn't go that high. But, that said, that inlay is quite unique. The price isn't out of the stratosphere, but the uke has some cracks that look more than superficial. It's a nice piece that should appreciate with time, I think. What do you think, dear Stan?

Youre right on the button, its more than i would pay for too, for that condition
If it was mint, id go to 1400... to me a bit risky, if it was in great condition, the risk would not be there.
Stingy me :)

Your thinking makes sense, Stan. I agree. Of course, in fifteen years, when the uke fetches $5000 on eBay, we'll both be eating our words, but...lol.
