Yes it comes with the hardshell case. It's very nice case and a gorgeous uke. I just dropped the price to $700 which is a great deal. If I weren't having problems with my left hand I would keep this uke.
 
I just saw that my lowering the price was not shown so I'm trying again - $700 for this amazing uke.
 
I have the RTSH Cedar Pro Classic which is similar to this (equivalent as far as play ability and sound). Lovely Uke- and it just gets better the longer I have it. Looks like a nice deal! Love the Pono's
