I want to present you two sopranos. One is made from walnut and the second one from padouk and maple. The first is french polished and the other is finished by truoil. They are completly different in sense of a sound, walnut soprano has much deeper tone in comparison to padouk one, however both have nice tone:)

Wow - those look beautiful! I really like the walnut one with the single f-hole. It gives a good modern feel using classic elements - very compelling!

Thank you, I am glad that you like it:)

They both look very nice!

How is the projection from that walnut one? isn't a single F-hole influencing the sound too much?

Both look very nice. I like the looks of the two-tone padouk but would probably prefer the tone of the walnut.

Thank you guys for your inquiring.
The tone of both ukes is completely different. Walnut soprano has got 10mm deeper body, so the tone is fuller. But padouk soprano has got much richer high tones. I realy don't know how the single f-hole affect the tone - this is only design issue. My friend made beautiful telecaster from this walnut board and the rest I used for my project:

So, what is the bracing like in the f-hole uke? It looks great!

The f-hole was a problem, a long area which decreases the soundboard stifness. Some beams are around the f heads toward sides. It turned out to be sufficient but next time I will make one cross beam directly under the center of the hole in an arc form. The arc will connect the center of the soundboard with its outer side - behind the F. I need to find a way because inner F side is a bit lower then outer. Not much but it is. I will improve it I hope:)
