Fellow UU:ers, I need some help .
I've been working on Mary-Lou (Acoustic version) by Sonata Arctica lately and though I can get through it, it sounds a bit "off".

What I could use some help with are the chord changes in this part of the song (marked red):
Also, what strumming pattern would you use? I've gone with D DUDUDU so far.
Thanks

How many measures for each chord? Thanks! Something I've wondered is why you dont write this out? It would be so easy and it would help newer players like me tremendously. I mean like this:Am G C F Am
Only a child, reckless and wild, needs to come home again.
G F C G
He promised the moon but won't marry you.
Am G C F Am
Nothing to do, eating for two, he's goin' out with someone new.
G Am Dm Am
Sunshine or rain, it's all the same, life isn't gray oh Mary-Lou.
Am C G F
Mamas do your children still sleep, in the safe of their cradles so sweet.
Am C G F
Story I told you I have forseen, Your little angel ain't always so clean.
Dm Am Dm Am
Days to come aren't easy to see, You can change 'em but it isn't free.
G Am Dm F G Am
I see that you don't believe, ooo-oo, but you will see.
Dm (2) Am (2) Dm (2) Am (2)
Days to come aren't easy to see, You can change 'em but it isn't free.
