Looking for information on bracing. If anyone can give me some advice on bracing the top on a tenor I sure would appreciate it. Thank you.

What is the best configuration for top bracing. I use spruce but just not satisfied with the tone.

Can't hardly go wrong with triple fan bracing if you are just starting out. Apply KISS principle: Keep it simple stupid. Below free bracing design. Also many youtube demonstrations. Myo-Moe is one of the best. Good luck!

Three fan braces is pretty basic, and pretty successful with thousands of excellent tenors to affirm it. Use quarter sawn spruce and thin it down as much as you dare. It is not rocket science.

No such thing as the best...just what you like best.
I use the 3 fan brace pattern but I've seen X bracing, ladder bracing, and Kasha bracing. What bracing pattern are you using now? Maybe you just have too much spruce in there
