I was asked to build a mahogany tenor by a French musician I met at the Sunshine Coast Ukulele Festival earlier in the year after he spent the weekend playing one I had on display there.

This one has his kids names engraved in some curly Jarrah around the rosette. The peg head veneers are Australian Blackwood, and the rest of the trim is Indian Rosewood. A MISI pickup is installed, and Gotoh UPT tuners. Strung with Worth Brown high G set.

Gorgeous as always, Allen! The names add a really nice, personal touch.

Lovely. I particularly like the wood of the front and the rosette is gorgeous.

Beautiful, when I win the lottery, buying one of your ukes will be at the top of my list!

Elegant! Love the shoulders.

Such a nice looking ukulele! The rosette is beautiful, and it's magic to me how you did it. Also, the finish is perfect. All details are beyond my scope to even begin to duplicate, and this ukulele is a product to behold. The new owner should be very pleased.
