I like to go out and see a fair amount of live music here in Chicago and so far this month I saw three bands that had unexpected ukuleles!
They were:
The Polka/Zydeco band Copper Box (Bass player swapped for uke for 3 songs during the set)
The folk duo Stealth Like A Canoe normally accordion guitar and beautiful harmonies, Nicolette pulled out a uke for one of the songs.
and another folk duo Actor Slash Model who had great harmonies and mixed upright bass with ukulele for almost all of their songs!
What have y'all seen?
