Joyful Uke's inspiration thread has me...inspired to listen to more ukulele music. Fellow UUers, I wonder if you wouldn't mind posting links to your favorite, inspiring uke performances.

One for now, but a long list might follow. LOL. So many great performaces! But, I've listened to this one several times today:

Some other favorites, (without links for now):
Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
Jake
Daniel Ho
Pure Heart
Matt Dahlberg
Joe Brown's The Ukulele Album
Greg Hawkes' The Beatles Uke

If I go hunting for links right now, I'll stay up all night listening to music. LOL.

OMG- YES- THIS^ x10. Corey, Kalei, Joel and Aaron ALONE, could keep me occupied for a lifetime.

...one time when I called HMS Aaron answered the phone, and he is like the coolest dude on the planet and so helpful...

Whenever I am sad, this video turns it all around, mostly because it just make me cry that beloved brother Iz was so special, yet he is no longer with us. The crying makes me feel better after.

I am thankful for his music, a small part of which, and all his magic mojo can be seen here in this beautiful song:

Another Aussie, and my favourite live performer, Darren Hanlon.

(This is easy to play, but if anybody has tips on how I can get those rolls up to speed on the F after the G/mini solo... please share!)

I'm going to be falling down that YouTube rabbit hole, I see. Looking forward to enjoying lots of videos.

I love this song, having discovered it from this cover on you-tube. I sought out the original, which I discovered was by Tom Waits, and still much prefer Joshua Lee's cover.

I haven't had a go at playing it myself yet - I should do though as I think I'm ready to give it a bash - if I can't play it too well then at least I'll know I need to learn some more!
