Hi All, I am new to UU and hope my topic is posted in the right place. I purchased 2 Martin ukuleles this summer after finding them on Craigslist: a 1950s tenor 1M and a (I believe) 1950s soprano 0 M. I love them. They sound amazing.
My question is how do you tell the reissues apart from the vintage ukuleles? Which models were reissued?
I have a habit of unwinding at the end of each day by searching for used ukuleles even though I don't need another ukulele (unless a concert, next year!) and lately I've come across many reissues of Martin ukuleles. I see they often come with a nice new Martin hard case and my soprano came with such a hard case so I am wondering if, indeed, I have a vintage soprano. Thanks for any advice.
