***SOLD*** For sale is a John S. Kinnard Series 2 Cut-away Tenor, with a born on date of 12/31/13. This solid mahogany tenor is in as-new condition. It features an absolutely stunning high gloss tobacco sunburst finish that is without a doubt the finest sunburst I've seen. This Series 2 also includes a side soundport, a herringbone rosette, ebony fingerboard, bridge, tail piece and faceplate. MOP logo and side markers, radiused fretboard, Gotoh UPT tuners, faux tortoise ivoroid binding, a premium tweed hard case, and a Kinnard installed K&K Twin Aloha pickup with strap button. There is not a scratch, dent, or ding anywhere, excepting some very light/faint strum marks. The construction and detail as with all Kinnards is meticulous. Strung with Living Waters low g it plays like a dream up and down the board, with great tone, long sustain and spot-on intonation. I priced it out on the Kinnard website today at a cost exceeding $3500. I am selling as I am now concentrating on concert size full time. For sale $1500 with free shipping/insurance CONUS if paid by Paypal Gift. Regular Paypal buyer will incur shipping/insurance costs.
***SOLD*** THANKS EVERYONE!!

Woah, I wish I had the funds. Good luck Steve!

Wow, what a nice instrument. This one will sell quick at that price. You might include the materials of construction in your original post, it looks like all mahogany.

Your right......I'm bad. Thought it but forgot (DUH!)
Thanks for pointing it out. I'll edit it now

What a great opportunity for somebody to step into a nicely appointed Kinnard at a nice price!

Amazing price. Not in the market for a tenor (and in Europe anyway), since there is a Kanile'a GL6 in my near future, but the price is astonishingly good. I'd be surprised if this remained available for long.

Excellent price for a Series 2 Kinnard tenor. If I didn't own a Kinnard mahogany tenor, I'd buy this one in a heartbeat.

Sent PM, couple questions- thanks!
