If we assume the neck angle is correct, which would you do first of:
Attaching the neck, then glue the back on and lastly bindings.
Or
Glue the back on, bindings and then attach the neck.

I'm using a bolt on design if it makes a difference.

Thanks!

Glue the back on! Until the back is attached your neck angle isn't set - try flexing the sides and you'll see the neck block move.

With a bolt-on I'd bind before attaching the neck, much easier with the neck out of the way.

I would glue the back, bind, and then attach the neck, unless you are wanting to do something like this:

if you are, I would still bind the soundboard before attaching the neck and do the back after

Thanks fellas, then my gut feeling was right. :)

put the back and top on, bind it and get everything basically ready for spraying, then fit the neck.

With Spanish heel you have to bind later, because the first assembly step is to glue the neck to the top, then sides to top and neck, and finally attach the back.

Obviously you can't use a router right up to the neck join, so that's more tricky. But if like me you cut your binding channels by hand it's very little more difficult doing so with the neck on.
