Am having a great time and have just spent 3 days with ukuleles best kept secret, Les Stansell. I am having problems accessing bandwidth so have not been able to do the live video on Facebook that I wanted to but you can really keep up with me here:

Uke related: I played some instruments with incense cedar tops. Unbelievable. Les got the wood from salvage after the 2002 Biscuit Fire here in Oregon. You are unlikely to see this wood anywhere else and Les is not about to sell what he has left.
I have also had a really interesting time seeing how a virtually complete hand builder works and how the transition from guitar builder to ukulele maker has worked for someone else. Seen more wood than I have and have parted with a considerable amount of dollars for more rare and exotic Oregon tone wood.
You need to catch up with Les - he has loads of videos on his YouTube channel of great players demonstrating his work. It is great stuff.
