KoAloha model and serial numbers

Hi,

Do KoAloha ukuleles always have model/serial numbers, or is it common that they have neither?

Look on the inside where the neck meets the body. My KoAloha had a number or date there.
From a recent thread I was reading it said that some KoAloha do not have numbers on them.

I have a 2016 model and it just has the month and year.

Mine is an Opio, and it has the month and year and the teeny logo inside at the base of the neck. No serial number or model number there or on the paper label.

The specialty ukes often do not have a date or serial number.

My KoAloha Sceptre has neither.

I called KoAloha, talked to Brian, told him where (Ukulele Source, San Jose, CA) and when (August, 2011) I had purchased it. He thought for about 15 seconds, and told me when it was made, based on when it had been shipped to Ukulele Source - which he remembered.

They have month and year only. No serial number or model number

Well, finally got the KoAloha, and on the neck inside, plain as day, the month and year is stamped.
