Just wanted to share a video link to Philadelphia-based Ukulele phenomenon Jim Boggia. We had the pleasure of hearing him in August playing most of his new disc, "Ukepop" (Beatles, sixties & seventies covers) at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. He also has superb guitar chops and a terrific singing voice. Surprised that he hasn't been mentioned on this board before. Enjoy!!!

Jim also performed at the Uke NJ festival this year (which I sadly missed).
I'm a fan though. Here's a fun one:

Jim gave a great performance at the NJ Uke Fest! I've been a fan since before he picked up a uke--love his power-pop albums and his homemade EPs.

Funny that LAST YEAR, Wendy (UkeCan1) and I both put Jim Boggia down on the registration form under "PERFORMERS YOU"D LIKE TO SEE HERE IN THE FUTURE" but this year I could not make it.

Oh, the IRONY. :(

Morristown Green put up a video of one of his songs from the NJ Uke fest (but I'd guess that this was not all of his performance):

also MANY other videos from NJ Uke Fest this year and, videos from years past ukulele festivals, can be seen here:

I like this guy...could listen to him for a while.

Talented guy. I like his arrangements for Ukulele on some Beatle's Classic like " A Little Help from My Friends", "Getting Better" and "If I fell". Tried to find a web site to see if he has tabs. May just have to buy a few of his CD's.

Thanks for sharing, I must live under a rock because I have never heard of him before. What a talent..........holy smokes, he is SUCH a good player. I was down the YouTube rabbit hole for a while with this performer, just great great stuff.

Jim Boggia has been mentioned here on UU quite a few times.

As per DownUpDave, he also has a huge number of videos on YouTube.

I like his style and music a lot. He's got lots of confidence and also a bit of swagger.
