Life Goes On

Today (Sept 18) was supposed to be our 8th Blackwater Ukulele Festival. But due to the "1'000 year flood" that happened back in Oct 2015 our venue was lost.

Life is like that, got to move on and adapt. Still kind of sad for me...

The good news is we will have another festival spring 2017. I have some commitment from all the players that make this happen. I personally have to make it through a major operation in Jan, but it is looking good...

I"ll be posting the particulars in the gatherings forum as everthing gets firmed up.

So sad that this event had to be cancelled. I couldn't make it last year. Looking forward to the details on the event in the spring. There was a guy who performed last year from Murrells Inlet, could you tell me what his name is? Desperate to find uke players in MB area.
