Question: High G on Low G Ukelele?

Hi Folks,

I am new here, having just caught the ukulele bug (play guitar for 30 years). While on Maui last week, i picked up a Pono Tenor that came with a Low G. I was wondering can I put a High G on it (i realize the nut slot is cut for low G - will there be buzzing, etc)?

no you'll be fine putting on a high G. OR, you can get Another uke with a high G so you'll have both G's without the hassle of changing the string when you want to play either or. might as well.. the UAS will get you... oh yes it will... haha! welcome to the Underground Glenn! :shaka:
