I'm about to re-Order some "Titebond" and I wondered if anything else is as good or even better :D..I know new stuff is being developed all the time and I'm on the lookout ..Just in case there is something out there I don't know about.

I used hide glue on my last repair of an OLD Koa Kumalae and was very happy with the workability, and results. I have been using cyanoacrylate glues of varying viscosities for several years in my wood turnings, and yesterday used a medium viscosity to fill cracks in the body of an old Banjolele with great results. I haven't constructed a new ukulele yet but have repaired several, and these two adhesives along with Tite-Bond are what I keep on the shelf.
