I bought the grizzly router with the adjustable rabbeting doohickey a while ago to do my bindings. The router is fine, but the slop and backlash in the adjuster was making me crazy. In the need to bring my Lee Valley order up to $40 to take advantage of their free shipping deal, I bought one of these http://www.leevalley.com/US/Wood/page.aspx?p=74068&cat=1,41182 for $15, thinking maybe I could use it to fine tune the adjuster. I know you pros buy the real and the right tool for the job, but this has been a pretty good work around at the amateur end of the pool. I think the pictures are pretty self explanatory. The piece of mylar is there because there is a hole in the part of the adjuster that bears on the ukulele side, and I didn't want it to scratch the wood. The low-tech rubber band keeping it taut also serves to keep the tool from vibrating into a different setting. The plywood base is for hand holding the router to bind the head stock.
