Aquila only makes a few sets of strings that are special for 8-string ukes.

Yup, Aquila. As far as I'm concerned, this uke is the new "gold standard" in an affordable 8 string tenor. The new taropatch should be out later this month (we'll see).

New taropatch? What's that supposed to be like? Got info? Different from their established TK-70-6 & TK-70-8? (I have both of these and enjoy them)
