Plese help check my TAB notation

I transposed a song that my son likes; I think the transposition is ok (at least it sounded ok to me). I've also added TABs, but I'm not sure if I got that right.

The song is Red River Valley (some info got cut off during scan)

Tabs looks OK to me, (don't know the tune).

(Edit: I'd put a squiggly line through the bottom line of the tab that's written on the staff ledger lines, to save confusion. )

Your TAB looks ok to me too... and I DO know the tune.

The only error I see in your notation is that your transcription is in the key of F Major, so if a key signature was used you would not need to write in the B-Flats. In its current form, the lack of the key signature isn't an issue...but if you were to harmonize, you would have to remember that you were not in C Major or a minor (no sharps/flats).

P.S. Your transcription also works well for both linear and reentrant tuning.

Yes, it is in F major; I avoided the key signature since it was meant for my son who'd miss the flats if put as signature.

Regarding the fingering/frets arrangements, I am open to changes. I picked the frets based on the idea that I don't needing to move the fret hand. Maybe there's better arrangements? (I'm very new to ukulele (don't know any instruments besides piano for that matter).
