Advice for the Right Price...

So i'm giving in to finally getting new uke...
But need some help....
Trying to find a god entry level uke between 200 and 300 bucks...
Thats my price range I can handle for now...
Any advice, links, pics, or vids will be Greatly appreciated...

The $200-300 range includes a LOT of great ukes. Any of these should be a good bet:

Mainland Ukes
Fluke/Flea
Ohana
Kala
Keli'i (solid koa, made in Hawai'i, soprano is only $299!)

Its my baby that started it all

But do need to upgrade...
How are Mainland Ukes?
That brand never came to mind til now...
They look beautiful, but what about sound and action?

they are great: made well, and sound well. they are also solid wood and a great price.

Yeah, I think pretty much anything in the 200-300 buck range from any of these respected brands would be a good uke and a great upgrade -- you're gonna enjoy it, man! You've earned it!

backordered though... it will take one month!

you dont need to order it straight from the manufacturer, order it from the uu store, or another retailer of mainlands

it's only the matte soprano mahogany.
i ended up emailing mike last night asking him to change it to the gloss finished.
he emailed me today saying he'll change the order for me.
he emailed me an hour later with a tracking number.

that guy knows how to make a customer happy!
