I get a fair number of requests for custom instruments in Tiger Myrtle. This one is paired up with some very stiff Western Red Cedar soundboard.

The fret board is Honduran Rosewood, and bindings are very dark Tiger Myrtle.

Tuned to DGBE with Worth Browns as per the clients request. The tone is rich and full, though I always feel that the scale length on a Baritone benefits from a higher tuning.

That's beautiful, Allen. Thanks for sharing. The mitered purfling in the rosette is really classy.

What a stunner! Would you do a short scale parlor guitar in that?

I've done a few short scale guitars on that body shape. In fact they are the largest guitars I do now because of the cost of shipping on anything larger than this.
