I've taught ukulele to my neighbor last Sunday. He started ukulele last month. He is doing very good. I taught him G chord this time.
A(in the figure below) is called banana. The first joist is stretched. It is often a bad shape in chord. B is good shape. The first joint is bent and the finger tip is vertical against fret board.

Banana is good for short barre like Bb, but it is often bad shape. Banana was the most important thing in the ukulele lesson on the last Sunday.
