Up for sale is a Compass Rose tenor in excellent condition, matte finish. This is a loud instrument, with a warm tone. Sorry I don't have more of the details about this instrument, but I acquired it several years ago and have forgotten what kind of wood was used. $1195 plus shipping.

It looks like all mahogany. Very nice looking instrument!
 
On mine there is stamp on the top of the headstock. Treble side year, my case two digits (11), and on bass three digits for the number.

Thank you. I agree it looks like mahogany, but I do not want to mislead anyone.

If you provide the year and serial number (see tenor madness's post), Rick Turner could identify what it's made of.
