I know this has been asked alot, but things change, so I am going ask for some help. I want to buy 2 starter ukes for my neighbors kids for Xmas. What is the current best bang for the buck starter uke?

The best value I have ran across is the Caramel ukuleles line. They have gotten more and more consistent and clean with their builds. You can go direct to them or get them through Amazon. You can get a laminate concert for 39$ shipped. I've been blown away by their quality for the price.

I think the Kala/Makala Dolphin/Shark is still well thought of.
