Formation of new group in Indiana

We founded the Tampa Bay Ukulele Society about 7 years ago with Meetup as our site. We are now the 3rd largest in the nation. We also have a FB page. We've been active, there are 4 jam sessions a month (each led by different peeps), 2 open mics, a library lending program with beginner workshops, and a great festival annually. It takes commitment, and some work, but you can do it, on any scale that you like.
