Compass Rose ukuleles?

Has any one played one of the new Compass Rose models? How do they compare to other similarly priced models?

I played them at a festival few years ago. They play and sound good for the price.

Compass Rose ukuleles seem to vary widely in price, depending on the decorations. Is your opinion based on some basic no-frills models that cost around $700-800 or some blinged out models that cost in excess of $1500? Thanks.

I forget who makes them, but whoever it is, I was told that they have made guitars for famous musicians such as Fleetwood Mac etc..
