There is a fellow (John Atkins) on YouTube who calls himself the ukulele teacher, showing how to play many songs (a lot of pop, which is understandable as a business model). At any rate, he recently oversaw development of an iPhone/iPad app that is now available--an easy way to access his teaching videos and more. It is called, quite logically, "The Ukulele App" The basic app is free (with ads); there is an IAP that upgrades the app to "pro" for a couple of dollars.

This isn't really going to be for advanced players, but for the rest of us, there will be songs to learn, tools to use, etc.

Yep, I've seen a few of The Ukulele Teacher's videos. But I only learned one of the songs so far. He did state that he was able to quit his other job, or at least work pt time, I think.

Yeah I like his videos. I learned my first few ukulele songs from watching his simplified versions on his YouTube channel.
