Hi all
Could anybody recommend a guitar effects pedal or amp that I could use on pc with I Rig Accoustic. I just want to play it through pc with a little reverb and able to record would be a bonus. I have amplitube on I phone but would just like to plug into pc and get a few effects.
Thanks Phil.

I'm just going to forward you to someone I call a friend though we have never met in person...Aron Nelson, a Hawaiian who created the unrealBook app for iPad, but first created the forum for guitar stomp boxes:

As you know, you can get the effects and recording ability directly on the iPhone. I'm not even sure you can plug the iRig Acoustic directly into the PC. If you just want it louder, you could run the iRig into the iPhone and then the line out of that into an aux input on your PC speakers or into Line In on the PC.

Do you already have a DAW on the PC you are familiar with?

The iRig acoustic will not work on your PC's mic jack unless:

either the Mic jack is a COMBO headphone/mic jack like on your iPhone (uses a 4-conductor TRRS plug)

or you get an adapter that splits the TRRS plug out to a mic plug and headphone plug (headset buddy on AMAZON is the kind of thing you want)

Also, the company that makes the iRig ALSO has a Windows and Mac version of Amplitube as well as other software that runs on Mac and PC.

Currently IK Multimedia is having a 20-40% off sale that ends on Dec 31, so if you are going to buy anything you may want to check their site right away...
