Howdy all.

I recently started using the book Ukulele Aerobics to help me get past the advanced beginner stage which I feel like I have been stuck on for a while. I also decided it was time to learn some music theory as it could only help me in the long run. I found this channel on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gHEIF0rT2w&list=PLB585CE43B02669C3 This guy is giving a FREE 50 lesson class on Music Theory. So far I am enjoying it very much. You will need to learn how to read sheet music and I found a nice little website that helps you learn the notes on the treble clef http://www.musictheory.net/exercises/note So far I have been using it for 3 days now and I am trying to memorize one new note each day so that I instantly know what it is just by looking at it in the music notation. I am 3 or 3 so far. Just want to pass it on to folks who are looking to get themselves some of that theory stuff under their belts :)

Thanks,
UkeTruck

Thank you!

Theta Music Trainer website has a number of music theory exercises built into games. They help me measure what I have learned and what I need to work on. Many are free or you can subscribe (I have not affiliation) to get really into ear training and music/instrument mixing. https://trainer.thetamusic.com/
