SOLD
Offering for sale my Tangi Koa Tenor.
Tangi is a now-defunct Hawaiian builder. The instrument is made from solid Hawaiian Koa wood and has a very attractive and functional Florentine cutaway. It was built in 1998 and the serial number is “06”. This is a well-used instrument and shows a fair amount of wear and tear, but is structurally sound. The case is a very sturdy wooden archtop case and latches securely.
Details:
There are numerous small scratches, dings, and scuffs on this ukulele The attached photos should show the extent of these flaws, but please be aware that this is not a showpiece, but a solid, vintage Hawaiian-built instrument. There are no cracks, splits, or other structural flaws. The action is somewhat high but not extreme. I had it recently serviced by a professional and the saddle was lowered as far as possible. Any further lowering would probably require a neck reset.
Payment by Paypal only. Shipping to the Continental United States is included in the price. I will not ship outside the U.S.
I will post a link to a sound sample in a follow-up post. Please excuse the playing.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
