Happy Winter! I'm interested in purchasing a solid mahogany ukulele at a lower price point -- Kala, Mainland, etc. that's been properly set-up with good intonation and plays well with low G.

New Ukes from Mainland are not that much higher in cost than the previously owned ones that pop up here from time to time. See if they have a "2nd", issues with the Uke that most buyers can't even find and yet are still fully covered by Mainland. They are easy to deal with and are well known to the UU and Uke communities.
