The "blemished" new Cordoba 20BM arrived today. Here he/she is being introduced to the others that occupy my apartment.

Congrats! I would be interested in getting your opinion as I am tempted to make a baratone purchase sometime this year.

Looks like the Cordoba is in good company. Congrats! :)

Is that Epi a Casino?

I have one in pearly-metallic Pelham Blue w/chrome hardware, but I've not really played it much since taking up the uke 3.5 yrs ago...maybe time for me to sell it...hmmm

Those cordobas are always nice. Well made.

I have a 'baritone-sized' cordoba as well but it isn't a baritone uke but a 1/4 size student nylon guitar Cordoba C1 protege. It is nice too.

Enjoy!

The EPI is a Sheraton II with the pick guard removed.

So far so good. It's my first uke so I don't have much to compare to. They knocked off $40 because of factory blemishes which quite frankly I can't see. Fit and finish is nice. Sounds good to my ear except the E string sounds a tad dull. That may change with use. I may find some other strings for it in the near future.

Congrats! My 2nd uke was a Cordoba, I played it for many, many hours!
It was the uke that really started teaching me to play.

I had a tenor, liked it a lot. Satin finish polished to a lovely low gloss. It hated Aquila strings. I'd check with Southcoast for replacement strings if you are inclined to replace them.

I've noticed that the two wound strings need to be re-tuned at least every day. The other two seem to be fine. Time to find some different strings. Otherwise I am happy with the uke.
