Hi,
Wife and I are newly obsessed with ukulele. We have a like new fiddle outfit - includes case, nice carbon fiber bow and accessories - for a solid wood uke. It was purchased new around $450, so looking for something of comparable value and open to options. Maybe a Martin S1 or something like that?
I own the sister violin to this one. Ordered two (one for wife but she didn't take to it at all). Picked them out of a larger batch based on the store owners recommendation and photos. They both have surprisingly nice one piece backs. Here's the actual one being played:
