I'm assuming based on price that this is being made in Mexico. From the spec sheet I really can't see much of a difference between it and the standard S1 except perhaps the lack of a headstock decal. Would appreciate any other information as to what might make this special.

There is no decal, a stamp on the back, black nut and saddle, and black tuners. Also, it appears to be stained darker than the normal S1.

And you are corrrect as to where it's made. The Style 3 Centennial is made in Nazareth (and lists for $2,995).

2 weeks ago pre-ordered mine in American Musical Supply.

Different to the S1:
- Do not have a decal in headstock
- no fret markers
- nut material is black tusq
- saddle is compensated black tusq
- it will have a special anniversary label
- neck and top-back-sides are dark mahogany
- Black peg tuners

Similar to the S1:
- made in Mexico
- Side markers

Expected on March 25, 2017.
