After many attempts at trying to get this right i'm now onto my best method so far...this WBW rosette has 3 staggered joints but it's difficult to see where they are...on this soprano the black one is at about 4 oclock

These are the sorts of things only the maker sees. Or looks for. Pretty darn seamless. However getting out the magnifying glass I believe I can make out a joint at the 11:30 position. Such sloppy work!

It's hard to see the joints with all the gaps around the rosette (kidding, kidding)
The only way to make it better would be to 3D print them.
