I just wondered if anybody knew if there was a riser nut for the ukulele. I know you can get one for guitar:

Enjoying experimenting with a slide on my tenor and just wondered if there was such a thing :-)

Some CBG players just use an Allen (Hex) Key on the fingerboard, under the strings and alongside the nut.

Stateside we do the same thing. Since they come different diameters one can experiment to find what height they want and shorten the one across the fretboard, and even the shorter side a bit. I lay the "handle" parallel to the neck pointing towards the tuners.

You can buy a blank from Stewart McDonald of CB Gitty and make your own.
If your not handy ask at your local guitar store. It shouldn't cost much either way.
