Anyone had a fiddle on the Aldrines?

Curious to know peoples opinions, and if they really are louder than 'standard nylons'.
I play acoustically and nylons have always just sounded lifeless to me, so hoping for something special. I love they feel of nylon over carbons, but carbons always seem to sound the sweetest to my ear (subjective of course).
I've purchased already, and will post my thoughts on arrival!

Did you order directly from Aquila? I just watched the jam play (on youtube) from last Friday and Aldrine mentioned he's been playing them for the last year in all his videos...sounds great to me
