Fishing Net Lute Ukulele

A friend gave me a broken fishing net. The natural thing to do with it was to make a ukulele. The frame reminded me of lute. So, I call it the Fishing Net Lute Ukulele.

Here is the fishing net, and the other parts for the uke.

It has a tenor scale length with only 9 frets.

It has a 45 degree headstock angle.

Talking about the major steps of the build, and playing two songs at the end.

Seems like it would be louder than some of your other builds on account of the larger sound box, no?

Its always interesting to see what you produce. It shows that its not that difficult to start making instruments without lots of tools and expensive tonewoods. I hope it encourages others to have a go. Keep them coming.

Yeah, it does have a deeper body than my other builds. I also think it helps the volume.
