I can't carry a tune in a bucket so I'm always looking for interesting tab arrangements.
My favorite site is Ukulele Hunt and I also like Uke of Carl.
I was wondering if maybe I'm missing out on some other good sites for for interesting tabs.
Any suggestions?

Since you mention not being able to sing, are you seeking tabs that include a melody line? Or are you just looking for songs to strum?

Lots of music here:

I'm guessing the OP meant true tablature and not chord charts, which a lot of folks mistakenly refer to as tabs. (IIRC Dr Uke is technically not tab, it's chord charts.)

Here are a few for the non-singers amongst us:

http://www.ukulele-arts.com/

I was going to mention Wilfred Welti (ukulele-arts), but Janeray beat me to it. :)

People referring to chords as 'tabs' is one of my pet peeves... it makes finding actual tabs so much more difficult!

Apologies to the OP, you did state tabs in your post. Sometimes we are too quick off the mark to help ;). Another vote for uke1950's pdfminstrel link if that helps

Our own member here......R J Putter has a great site....Ukefever. He has high G, low G and even baritone arrangements in many different music styles.

Yes. This is the assumption (a dangerous thing) I made regarding the opening post when I first read and responded to the thread, that's why I asked for clarification. Upon reading it a second time it seems clear Rob Uker does indeed want tabs.I had intended to include a second link to a tab site but I was in a hurry and drew a blank.

Consider me tarred and feathered.

Mine too. Some years back I posted about this and got totally shot down for being pedantic, but - to me it's all about education and clear communication. Definitions, that differentiate one thing from another, are helpful! In this case we're talking about something that's super easy to find (chord charts) vs. something that's much harder to come by (true tab).

Nah, too harsh. Schooled maybe? :)

How odd that people thought it pedantic; they're just two different things!
It's like trying to buy a cat and people keep showing you horses.... ;)

Anyway, to get back on topic; I don't think Ukulelehunt has been mentioned yet?

He has both tabs and chords, and differentiates between the two. :D

It's a great website, one of my favorites!

It's not pedantic at all. It's all about ignorance and laziness. People can't be bothered to find out and use the correct terminology. Tabs and Chord Charts are two completely different beasts and serve different purposes. Being idle and not using the correct terminology just causes confusion.

Tablature has a long history going back to the Middle Ages when notation for many instruments was in the form of tablature which told you where to put your fingers rather than giving you the notes to be played and the player then decided how to play those notes. Chord notation is relatively modern and provides a shorthand for accompanying instrumentalists who can then work out a suitable accompaniment to a tune or song.

What you call chord diagrams placed above the music or words of a song, I don't know because you could argue that they are a form of tablature as they tell you where to place your fingers to make the chord. Chord diagram does fine for me, though.

That's kind of how I feel about people using the term Jamming to describe a group strum along out of the yellow book.
