Although it's Saturday, I played a Pineapple Sunday today [rim shot]!!! It's the second one that I've played and they both sounded great! It was also easy to play and well balanced despite its weird body-to-neck ratio. FYI. :shaka:

Whoa, what's the story with that one?

Love Pineapple Sundays. Hope to have my own one day, when I can handle the cost.

They retail for $1500.00, but I'm sure MGM could get it cheaper.

Michael, had one for considerably less than 1500 recently. truthfully, i've bought a lot from MGM, and will again (i just did lol) but the one pineapple sunday i have in mind is from my local. it's the first `ukulele that my Wahine said i sounded good playing hahaha and she's of a few people whose opinion really counts. everytime i go to the store, i just sit and stare at it in the case.

When they first came out with pineapple sundays Riatea Helm who plays Koaloha was doing a magazine cover shoot and wanted to hols a ukulele on black Lava rock with ocean behind the brown koa blended in and jusy didnt stick out so Koaloha made a special lavender purple one for the photos shoot so the uke would stand out....this was one of them..hey look who signed it..

That uke is sexy...I have always been a kamaka fan, but after watching the story behind the koaloha ukuleles, i have decided to one day buy one, dreaming of a scepter but hehehe that not going to be possible for quite sometime.

So Mike, do you got a picture of her? I'm not sure who she is.

I must be the odd man out as I prefer the regular old plain vanilla flavor KoAloha Pineapple the Pineapple Sunday having too much bling for my old fut conservative tastes aesthetically speaking without having ever played one. :eek:ld:
