Any good ukulele bands out there?

So, i'm fairly new to the uke scene and i'm wondering if there are any good bands out there that feature the uke. Ive seen plenty of great soloists via youtube and other such outlets but im looking for full bands. particularly bands of the eccentric, creative, goofy, groovey, hippie jam band variety. thanks!

Eccentric describes a host of ukulele acts. Creative... an endless stream of performers. Goofy, Check out "Monkey Business" with Uke Jackson. Groovey, there are some ukulele reggae bands that groove in spades. Hippie Jam Band... see Midnight Ukulele Disco.

There are even more retro uke bands, like The Night Owls, Snake Sunspenderz, and Janet Klein and her Parlor Boys.

You might check out Ukesperience. They are definetly goofy. My friend's dad and I got a kick out of watching them at the Waikoloa 'Ukulele Fest.

There are also a bunch of modern indie bands (definitely creative/eccentric) that use uke quite regularly, although not nearly quite as proficiently as say, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

The Magnetic Fields got me turned on to ukulele in the first place, although they really do use a lot of distortion and synth in their earlier stuff... They do have a number of good songs that feature ukulele. There's a little known Canadian band that I adore called the Bar Mitzvah Brothers who use ukulele lots... Beirut also falls into this indie uke category.

Ukulele Bartt has been joining us at Island Bazaar Thursday night jam. He is quite the character....wow!
 
You could kinda of consider Gus and Fin a ukulele band... (gugug on youtube.) I love those guys.

I think the best original ukulele music comes from our very own Aldrine Guerrero. Love his songwriting.

For goofy, definitely The Re-Entrants. They have a lot of vids on youtube of their concerts. Epic stuff.

JMD(Jason Arimoto's band), The Barnkickers, Tripping Lilly, Victoria Vox.. tons of great uke music out there. Some of it's gotta fit what you're looking for.
